After arriving at Dalyan, you will be transferred to smaller boats to be taken up the stunning river delta as seen in the film “The African Queen” starring Humphrey Bogart. This beautiful nature reserve is prized as one of Turkeys most beautiful and unspoiled attractions. There will be a stop at the King Rock Tombs, these tombs are from the Lycian period and date back to around 2400 BC. A professional guide will be on board to provide you with all the information about the area and its history. Once you have passed through the centre of Dalyan village you will arrive at the well known mud baths, visited by many famous people including Dustin Hoffman. The mud baths are not only enriched with minerals but are tremendous fun for all. You can swim, relax, and top up that sun tan on Turtle Beach (a 5 km stretch of sand beaches) boasting boat fresh and sea water. A beach break for about one hour allows everyone to relax and enjoy the fantastic surroundings. While returning to Marmaris you will be able to enjoy on board entertainments for the whole family, making this trip the perfect combination of history, scenery and lots of fun!
